Terms of Service
Last updated July 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and, where noted, the plumbing work we carry out for you. Booking a job with Flow’s Plumbing Co., Inc. means you accept them.
Using This Website
The content here is provided in good faith for general guidance. Plumbing varies enormously between houses, and nothing on this site is a substitute for someone qualified looking at yours.
Do not rely on an article here to carry out gas work, electrical work, or anything requiring a permit. In New York, gas piping and sewer work are licensed activities for good reason.
Quotes and Pricing
Prices shown on this site are starting points for straightforward work in an accessible location. They are not offers, and they do not account for what we might find once we open something up.
A quote becomes binding when we have seen the job — in person or from photographs sufficient to judge it — and given you a written number. If we discover something behind a wall that changes the scope, we stop and re-quote before continuing. You are free to decline at that point and pay only for work already done.
Scheduling and Cancellation
We hold appointment windows rather than exact times, because emergencies displace scheduled work. We will call if we are running late.
Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Inside 24 hours, or if nobody is at the property when we arrive, we may charge the callout fee.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept card, check and bank transfer. Larger projects may be staged with a deposit and progress payments set out in the quote.
Overdue balances accrue interest at the rate permitted by New York law.
Warranty
Our workmanship is warranted for one year from completion. Parts and fixtures carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides, and we will help you claim under it.
The warranty does not cover damage from freezing, misuse, work altered by someone else, or conditions we identified in writing and you chose not to address.
Liability
We carry general liability insurance and are bonded; certificates are available on request before work starts.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of Nassau County have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you book.
