These terms cover your use of this website and, where noted, the plumbing work we carry out for you. Booking a job with Flow’s Plumbing Co., Inc. means you accept them.
What We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data about how the site is used.
Contact details you enter in a quote or contact form: name, email, phone number and property address.
The description and any photos you attach when you tell us about a plumbing problem.
Basic analytics: pages visited, approximate location by city, browser and device type, and how you arrived at the site.
Records of jobs we have carried out for you, including invoices and any permits filed on your behalf.
Why We Collect It
We use your information to quote and carry out plumbing work, to reach you about a job, to keep the records that licensed work requires us to keep, and to understand which parts of this site are useful.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
Who We Share It With
We share information only where a job requires it, and only the part of it that is required.
Suppliers, when a part has to be ordered to your address.
Town and county building departments, when a permit or inspection is filed for your property.
Our accountants and insurers, where a job or a claim requires it.
Service providers who host this website, our email, and our scheduling software.
How Long We Keep It
Quote requests that do not become jobs are deleted after two years. Records of completed work are kept for seven years, which is what our insurance and New York licensing requirements call for. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months.
Your Choices
You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, correct anything that is wrong, or delete anything we are not required to keep. Email hello@flowsplumbing.com and we will respond within thirty days.
You can opt out of any marketing email using the unsubscribe link in it. That will not stop us contacting you about a job you have booked.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Job records are held in access-controlled systems, and only people who need them can open them. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
